Voula Germanakou Kopsini (Piraeus, 1988) is co-founder of Baobab. She is a graduate of the Film Department of the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg (HfbK), of Stavrakos Film School and of the Documentary Filmmaking specialisation of Met Film School in Berlin. She has directed and produced three short documentary films “The story of Yannis” (2019, Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, Drama SFF etc), “Xenos” (2015, Drama SFF, Bideodromo of Bilbao etc) and “Valentina” (2014, Athens IFF) and co-directed and co-produced the short fiction film “Iasis” (2012, Drama SFF, Athens IFF).

Dimitris Panagopoulos (Athens, 1990) studied Film Direction in Stavrakos Film School, from which he graduated in 2011. He has written and directed the short fiction film “The Butcher” (2013), which won special mentions in Noida IFF and Delhi SFF both in India and Marbella IFF of Spain. In addition, he works as a colorist for short and full-length films and television and is involved as a video maker in diverse cultural projects. From 2014 to 2018 was the assistant of the acclaimed Greek director Yorgos Tsemberopoulos. He is a founding member of the Athens-based cooperative production company Baobab. He lives and works in Athens.

Aspa Siokou was born in Athens in 1986. She studied Film Directing in Athens and Hamburg, she has written and directed short films, which have traveled around the world in film festivals. She teaches Creative Writing through Non – formal education, she is a bookworm and loves journeys.

Irini Valentina Gkounela (1982) grew up in Germany and studied Mass Communications and Photography in Thessaloniki Greece. She is a co-founder of Baobab and works as a director of photography, narrator and producer.
